Tell me more about them

Tradedoubler is a public company and its shares are traded on the Swedish stock market. Recently AOL launched a bid for the shares - althought this was recommended for acceptance by the Tradedoubler board, it was not approved by sufficient Tradedoubler share holders to go through.

Linking Options

The Tradedoubler interface is at first glance rather complicated as it offers an extensive array of linking strategies. Of course you can choose from standard text links, banners and deeplinks. In addition, you can use the AdTool to select products from the merchants that you want to promote and the AdTool displays your chosen products on your website, in the design of your choice. A recent innovation is AdMatch, Tradedoubler's contextual advertising tool. This clever technology scan the content of your page to serve the most relevant contextual adverts. In addition, you can export product feeds or search the product database. You can also put a MyShop search box on your site, which enables visitors to your site to search through the product database (of advertisers that you are affiliated with). If they make a purchase, you get a commission.

Is the company UK based or international?

The company is international, but payment to UK affiliates is made in £ sterling via BACS once a month once your balance has reached £30 or more. Note that commissions are not automatically confirmed and can remain pending for extended periods until you get paid. In rare circumstances, the merchant can cease trading and your earned commissions will be left unpaid.
