Commission Junction LogoCommission Junction is a US based affiliate network with national offices in the UK (London), Germany (Munich), Sweden (Stockholm) and France (Paris). The minimum payment level for a UK affiliate is £16 although you can set a higher level if you would like to.

Commission Junction enables affiliates to reach a global network of advertisers, and commissions can be paid in the currency of your choice. They provide a wealth of online educational resources and reporting tools. Programs offered include pay per sale or pay per lead, but not pay per click. Datafeeds are not provided free to affiliates - you have to pay for them. This may mean more unique content for your website as other affiliates will be less likely to utilise datafeeds that they have to pay for. However, I have not been brave enough to pay for a datafeed yet!

Linking Options

You can link to your chosen merchant in a variety of different ways, either through banners or text links. In addition, you can link via plain html text links or javascript links. Links can be encrypted if you choose, which makes it difficult for other affiliates to alter the link from your site to "steal" your commission.

In your Account Manager, you can make use of Smartzones. A SmartZone is a dynamic ad holder associated with one of your websites into which you can add links via the Account Manager. You can displays a list of all your current SmartZones and manage them accordingly. Every web site that you have can have many SmartZones linked to it. Smartzones are used as an an alternative to manually replacing each advertiser link in the HTML. The links within the SmartZone are weighted, to determine how often each link displays in relation to the other links within the SmartZone, to obtain a weighted rotation of the links.

All links appearing in a Smartzone can be updated at any time from the account manager.

Is the company UK based or international?

They are an international company as mentioned above, but have an office and staff in the UK. Even commission from international programs can be paid to you in £ sterling. Payment is made via BACS (Bankers Automated Clearing System) which is usually free to UK based current accounts.
